SCOTT HARMON - Chief Executive Officer

Noesis Energy

Scott has 20 years of senior leadership experience with enterprise software companies. As CEO of venture-backed AlterPoint, he helped orchestrate a strategic sale of the business. He also co-founded Motive Communications, which grew to nearly $100 million in revenues and a successful IPO under his leadership. In the early 1990s, he was part of the pioneering team of Tivoli Systems; upon its ac- quisition by IBM, he served as VP of Marketing and Strategy for the combined business.

Scott graduated from Iowa State University and holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.

CHRIS PACITTI - General Partner

Austin Ventures

Chris Pacitti began his venture capital career in 1995 and joined Austin Ventures in 1999 as a Partner. Chris focuses primarily on early-stage technology companies in the software and Internet sectors. He currently serves on the Board's of Bazaarvoice (NASDAQ: BV), Complex Media, Credant, Dachis Group, Innography, Mindjolt, NewComLink, Noesis Energy, Troux, Virtual Bridges, and Worksoft. He has been a board member of numerous other companies including Pluck (NASDAQ: DMD), Permeo (NASDAQ: BCSI), Vovici (NASDAQ: VRNT), Powered (acquired by Dachis Group), (acquired by Peopleclick Authoria), BetweenMarkets (acquired by Inovis) and ON Networks (acquired by Com- plex Media). Chris started his venture career with TL Ventures, where he was a Vice President and also focused on early-stage technology investing. Prior to TL Ventures, Chris was a Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of a technology start-up company that pioneered several industrial applications for a novel oxidizing chemistry.

Chris received his BA in Economics from Johns Hopkins University. He previously served on the Microsoft Venture Capital Advisory Board and on the Entrepreneurs Foundation of Central Texas Board.

ROB DAY - Partner

Black Coral Capital

Rob Day is a Partner with Black Coral Capital, based in Boston. He has been a cleantech private eq- uity investor since 2004, and acts or has served as a Director, Observer and advisory board member to multiple companies in the energy tech and related sectors, currently including Digital Lumens, Next Step Living, and Powerit Solutions
Rob serves as the Chairman of the Cleantech Open – Northeast Region. Rob was previously a co-founder of the Renewable Energy Business Network, a non-profit organization which was acquired in 2009 by the Clean Economy Network. Since 2005 he has also authored the website Cleantech In- vesting, which currently appears on Formerly a consultant with Bain & Company, Rob has worked with companies and evaluated private equity transactions in the energy/ utilities, telecom, IT, medical/pharmaceutical, and retail industries. Earlier in his career, Rob was a member of the World Resources Institute’s Sustainable Enterprise Program, where he co-authored the report The Next Bottom Line: Making Sustainable Development Tangible. Rob received his MBA at the Kellogg Graduate School of Management (Northwestern University), and his BA at Swarthmore College.
